Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!

Tip of the week

As much as you admire a professional in your field and are really interested in networking with them online, resist the urge of sending a generic LinkedIn connection request. In fact, personalized connection requests are encouraged at all times, especially if you’re trying to keep in touch with someone you only met once or rarely interacts with in person. But if you don’t know the person at all, a message stating why you’re reaching out to them is highly encouraged. Too shy to connect with professionals you haven’t met in real life? You can always follow their profile; no connection requests or messages needed.
