FACE TO PLACE EXHIBITION CLOSING – MAY 8TH

Don’t miss your chance to see Face to Place at the NYFA Gallery! 

The exhibition features an array of installations, mixed media, drawings and paintings from artists who have participated in NYFA’s Immigrant Artist Program (IAP) from 2007 to 2014. 

Since 2007, the program has served 150 immigrant artists. Each cycle has proven to be an invaluable experience for mentees and mentors alike, and artists often remain connected well beyond the program. 

The selected artwork is an engaging visual experience that embraces the identity of each talented artist. Face to Place artists include:

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Applications are currently open for NYFA’s Immigrant Artist Program. The IAP initiative pairs immigrant artists working in all disciplines with artist mentors who provide critical support and nurture their creative development. From June 2015 – September 2015, mentors will provide their mentees with broader access to the New York cultural landscape by sharing advice, resources, and experiences.
