NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships in Crafts/Sculpture

NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships in Crafts/Sculpture

“Thank you, NYFA, for sending me down a new path, one that puts my creative practice at the forefront.” – Amanda Mathis (Fellow in Crafts/Sculpture ‘14)

NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships are awarded to originating artists living and working in the state of New York, with different disciplines being recognized each year. This cycle, submissions for Crafts/Sculpture will be considered and recipients awarded $7,000. It is not a project grant – it should fund the artist’s vision or voice, regardless of the career stage of their artistic development.

This category includes work in all forms of craft, including ceramics, glass, wood, metal, fiber, textiles,
and mixed media, and also accepts work in all forms of sculpture, including kinetic works and
installations. Both conceptual and traditional work is appropriate.
